Job Description / Responsibility
  • Supervision of various types of Construction & finishing works and adequate skill for preparation of work schedule, work order contractor's bills, verification of measurement books, etc.
  • Comprehend Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, Drawings and apply efficient method of construction as well as planning efficient execution.
  • Manage and supervise construction operation activities at multiple project sites simultaneously with efficiency.
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing & handling bids from contractors and  sub-contractors.
  • Monitoring the work progress and control the work schedule properly.
  • Quality control (check of strength of concrete, cement, re-bars, workmanship of finishing works like plaster, tiles, wood works, paints etc.)
  • Liaising with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity Surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project and keep record of progress.
  • Ensure proper quality of works according to specification.
  • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during the civil works.
  • To prepare all types of material budgeting.
  • Maintain records of works done by contractors/outsource vendors.
  • Periodic reconciliation at site regarding materials consumption, site cleaning and site safety issues.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly work schedule.
  • Update daily project work activity & Preparation of monthly progress report.
  • Assist in legal verification of Land.
  • Communicate with government authorities regarding the project work.
  • Perform any other job as assigned by the authority from time to time.

Place of Work:
You will work at Head Office based at Uttara, Dhaka and Factory site Paniumda, Nobigonj, Hobigonj.
Salary & Allowances:

The salary and allowances are fixed as follows:
a)      Basic salary of                              Taka    10,000.00
a)      House Rent Allowance of            Taka      4,500.00
b)      Conveyance allowance of            Taka      2,500.00
c)      Medical Allowance of                  Taka      1,500.00
d)     Others /Special Pay of                  Taka      1,500.00
 
e)      Total                                              Taka    20,000.00

f)       You will be entitled to festival bonus which is in total of  your two basic pay per annul.
g)      All other benefit will be given as and when required and policy regarding those benefit will be developed on the way of our progress.


Probation:
You will be on probation for a period of six months from the date of your joining. This period may be decreased or increased, the latter up to another three months, should the management desire to do so. Such modification shall depend solely upon the management’s evaluation of your progress.

Supervision:
You will work under direct supervision of your Functional Head and who will evaluate you after the completion of the probation period mentioned herein.

Tax Policy:
Any part of the compensation which is taxable will be borne by the employee and that amount will be deducted by the employee from the net payment as per law for payment to income tax authority.

Transfer:

Your immediate posting will be at the Head office located at Uttara, Dhaka but it is to be expressly understood that you may be transferred and posted at any other establishment of the Company. And such establishment may be outside the city and could be at our plant, existing or new. Same as may be provided for you will not be entitled to any other monetary benefit or compensation solely by virtue of such transfer.

Timing:

Depending upon the timings prevalent in the establishment of your posting.

Exclusivity:

Resignation And Termination of Services:
During the probation period, your services may be terminated by either party at any time without assigning any reason. After confirmation, the management may terminate your services at any time by giving 30 days prior notice in writing or on payment of 30 days salary in lieu of notice. You may resign, after confirmation, on giving three-months prior notice in writing.

Termination of Employment due Cause:
If the employee commits any breach of this appointment or is found guilty of i) misappropriation of money, ii) inactive in the position, iii) unauthorized absence, iv) insubordination to lawful orders of employee superiors v) theft, fraud or dishonesty in connection with the employer’s business or property vii) borrowing money from any client viii) habitual late attendance, ix) riotous or disorderly behavior in the establishment or any act subversive to discipline  x) Habitual negligence work   xi) habitual breach of any rule of employment including conduct or discipline xii)falsifying, tempering with damage or causing loss of employee official records xiii) any other act of misconduct or conflict of interest; then the employee will be liable to suspension by the employer and terminate this after a proper inquiry. For reasons of such misconduct as stated above, the employee will not be entitled to any compensation on termination.
